Get these petitions passed at your Annual Conference

United Methodist Annual Conferences are fast approaching. One way to influence the local Annual Conference is through passage of resolutions with hopes of getting them passed on to the General Conference.

We are including four resolutions which need to be passed by your Annual Conference. You will need to act quickly in order to have these resolutions considered by your Annual Conference as this year's deadline for filing is likely approaching very quickly. Click here to contact your local Annual Conference about instructions for submitting resolutions and the deadlines for filing.

Here are the four resolutions for your use. These resolutions may be submitted by an individual United Methodist Church member, by church groups, by administrative boards, or by the local church as a whole. The more people you can involve the better. Each petition must be signed by the person(s) submitting it, accompanied by appropriate identification, such as address, local church, or United Methodist Church board or agency relationship. Telephone number must also be included. Primary contacts are required but an attachment sheet of numerous signatures is permissible and recommended. Again, contact your local Annual Conference for instructions for submitting resolutions and deadlines for filing.

  4. Agency Staff Uphold Doctrinal and Ethical Standards

Forward this your United Methodist friends!
